About this kit

The air filter housing on older Stihl handheld blowers gets brittle with age, and the choke lever is usually the first part to crack. Once that happens the engine pulls unfiltered air. This kit replaces the choke housing 4229 140 2801, the cover 4229 141 0501 and the filter 4229 120 1800.

It fits BG45, BG46, BG55, BG65, BR45 and the SH55 and SH85 shredders. Pair it with our BG55 carburetor if the engine has been breathing dust for a while.
